My experience in top-end interior design has been wonderfully varied by both country and category.

Before spreading my wings and flying off to Paris, I collaborated on a range of projects from the Crown Casino to the international policy think tank, the Lowy Institute, creating award-winning projects for BatesSmart.

In Paris, working alongside Christian Liaigre for five years, I was enchanted by my experiences with European clients. Exemplary in their appreciation of design and style. Uncompromising in regard to beauty, function and quality. Which is just as it should be.

Residential projects have taken me to the other side of the globe. Creating interiors for an exclusive private residence in Nantucket USA and collaboration with the architect Richard Meier for a beach house in Malibu.

Other invaluable experiences included working with local French artisans on the fabrication of classic furniture designs.

Commercial projects too, offered similar lessons in sophistication, such as designing interiors for the Banque de Rothschild in Paris.

In London, I applied the concept of brand to interiors, designing retail spaces for a number of multinationals. One memorable assignment was designing interiors for the British Museum.

Settled in my Surry Hills studio, my focus is on what I love best: exclusive private residences and holiday homes in the beautiful environs of Sydney, such as Mosman, Potts Point and Palm Beach. Spiced occasionally with a boutique hotel or high-end retail outlet.

My first placement out of University introduced me to the opulent design world of Cartier and Yves Saint Laurent. So perhaps Paris was in my blood from the very beginning.
